Our Associate of Applied Science Degree program provides students with a solid foundation of business skills as well as specialized training across a broad spectrum of travel industry roles. Graduates will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a career as a reservations agent, tour planner, airline ground service personnel, business travel planner, hotel sales representative or agency management trainee.

Skills You'll Learn
1 Aid in the creation of promotional and presentation materials.
2 Learn to communicate effectively with travel product and service suppliers.
3 Develop strong oral, written and interpersonal skills for effective communication.
4 Employ information technology skills required to effectively perform travel and tourism management duties.
5 Perform clerical responsibilities such as typing, record keeping, office communication, scheduling and mail distribution.
6 Pursue new learning opportunities within the community for personal and professional growth.
7 Use industry resources to select, collect and manipulate data from computer-based and manual reservations systems.
