Hampton, VA – When Bryant & Stratton College’s new Hampton Campus decided to donate $2,500 to the area’s March of Dimes 2011 “March for Babies,” students also got together and raised an additional $1,000 themselves through bake sales, “jeans’ day” stickers and just good, old-fashioned giving.
The students’ gesture was significant because the student body is still relatively small. Bryant & Stratton College’s Hampton Campus just enrolled its first students last fall at its new campus on Claiborne Square in Peninsula Town Center.
The March of Dimes’ “March for Babies” is the national organization’s signature annual fundraiser supporting infant health along with research, education and prevention of premature births.
