How to Apply
Applications for admission to the college may be obtained from the Admissions Office or by filling out our
easy online eApplication
. The completed application is submitted to the selected Bryant & Stratton College campus or Online Division. Applications are accepted throughout the year for all future enrollment dates.
All candidates must submit a completed Application for Admission to the college and a $35.00 registration fee.
Candidates must have earned a high school diploma, a GED (High School Equivalency Diploma), or demonstrated the ability to benefit from a post-secondary education as defined in federal regulations.
Students are required to submit their high school transcript or GED within 60 days of the start of the semester.
Candidates must complete an Entrance Evaluation, meet any articulated program requirements, and any other evaluations as required by state federal regulations.*
* Applicants who meet one of the following criteria may be exempt from taking the Entrance Evaluation: (1) an associate degree or higher; (2) a score of 20 or above on the ACT exam; (3) a score of 840 or above on SAT exams taken prior to April 1995 or a score of 956 or above (500 Verbal, 456 Math) on SAT exams taken in or after April 1995.
Admissions Interview and Tour
A visit to Bryant & Stratton College for a tour of campus facilities, a personal interview, and a discussion of the programs of study is an important, and enlightening step in the admission process (and only takes about an hour). Admission with Advanced Standing
Bryant & Stratton College grants advanced standing based upon transfer of college credit, high school articulation, or evaluation of knowledge and skills by examination.
Award of credit based on transfer credit or on the results of testing programs may shorten your program completion time. Up to 50 percent of the total credit hours required for graduation, including 50 percent of the total required hours in major study area, may be earned through a combination of transfer credits, high school articulation, national evaluation, and proficiency evaluation.
Students who wish to take courses at other colleges while pursuing a program at Bryant & Stratton College may have their credits transferred into their program providing they obtain written approval from the Dean prior to enrolling in the outside courses and providing they have an official transcript of the outside courses sent to the Dean upon completion. Before beginning this process, a student should meet with a Financial Services staff member to discuss any impact relative to federal, state, and campus-based financial aid and scholarships.
