Syracuse, NY -- The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the National Soccer Coaches Athletic Association (NSCAA) announced that Bryant & Stratton College’s Bryant Vargas has been selected as one of the top soccer players in the nation. Bryant Vargas is a 2009 NSCAA Second-Team All-American, 2009 NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American and led the Bobcats to another successful season as they flirted in the national rankings. He is the eighteenth NJCAA Soccer All-American in Bryant & Stratton College history. Congratulations Bryant!

In order to receive a NJCAA Academic All-American award, a student athlete must meet all of the following requirements: must have completed three full-time semesters of college work, must have participated in at least one season of the varsity sport at the college at which they are nominated in, must have a GPA 3.80 to 4.00 for Distinguished All-American or 3.60 to 3.79 for All-American, and must be nominated during the academic year in which the participation occurred.
