Students in Ohio wishing to pursue an education with an eye on a career have a new program to consider as Bryant & Stratton College is now offering Medical Reimbursement and Coding for online students in the state of Ohio.
The 60-credit program provides students with a path to career opportunities doing coding and office work in a variety of healthcare settings. Graduates of the program will have the ability to pursue positions with private practices, hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, insurance providers and more.
Through a diverse course offering, students gain the skills to carry out coding, billing, transcription and more. Students will have a full understanding of medical terminology and ICD-10 coding with the program meeting the standards set by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
Bryant & Stratton College’s Online Education division is currently enrolling Ohio students in the Medical Reimbursement and Coding program. The Ohio campuses in greater Cleveland and Akron will begin offering this degree in the spring of 2019 for the semester that begins on May 1.
