Bobcats BLAST Albany College of Pharmacy 4-0, Remain Undefeated

Albany, NY – The Bryant & Stratton College men’s soccer team continues to impress as they soundly defeated Albany College of Pharmacy yesterday by the score of 4-0.It was the Bobcats fifth shutout in their first six games of the season. The Bobcats have only allowed one goal and have so far scored an amazing 33 goals this season!
Yussuf Olajibe (Brooklyn, NY) opened the scoring with a tricky back heel goal to take the lead going into halftime 1-0. The Bobcats came alive in the second half as they out shot their opponents 38-1 and scored 3 insurance goals to secure the victory.
The (5-0-1) Bryant & Stratton College men’s soccer team is ranked #2 in the nation for the second straight week in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association national poll.
“We are excited to be recognized #2 in the nation for the second straight week but it does come with challenges and expectations,” Coach Nick Dimitrievski said. “We are starting to understand the pressures involved with competing on the national stage.”
The Bobcats resume play as they travel to take on Monroe Community College on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 @ 4:00pm.
