Buffalo, NY (February 12, 2013) – The Career Services Department at Bryant & Stratton College today released a new infographic designed to help job seekers ace their interviews and increase their chances of receiving a job offer. This new infographic, entitled “11 Interview Tips to Help You Land the Position,” gives effective job interview tips for every phase of the process from preparation to follow up. In today’s crowded job market, this infographic is a valuable resource for job seekers to help them stand out from their competition.
Here’s what job seekers can expect to learn from this infographic:
- How to properly research the company they’re interviewing with
- A list of common interview questions to expect during the interview
- How to make a good impression from appearance to punctuality
- What to do following the interview
It’s important for applicants to know that they can improve their chances of being hired even after the interview. Sending a thank-you note is a great opportunity to communicate their interest in the job, which could potentially sway the employer in their favor. In fact, according to a survey by Career Builder, 22 percent of employers say that they’d be less likely to hire someone if they didn’t send a thank-you note after the interview.
The new infographic was produced by the Career Services Department at Bryant & Stratton College. The Career Services Department is dedicated to helping students prepare for their job search and find a new job in their field once they graduate. The Career Services team gives professional career coaching to students and graduates, helping them polish their resumes, prepare for job interviews and search for new job opportunities. Now with this infographic, the Career Services team is sharing their knowledge and expertise with anyone who might be preparing for an important job interview.
