Hampton City Mayor Partner with Bryant & Stratton College to Host City-Wide Career Fair and Employability Summit

Hampton, VA (October 13, 2014) – The Mayor George Wallace Peninsula Career Fair & Employability Summit will take place on October 29th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hampton Roads Convention Center. This event is free and open to the public.

Bryant & Stratton College will also host a live online event featuring nationally renowned HR experts from CareerBuilder, the HR Policy Foundation, ManpowerGroup and Mainstreet in an open forum to discuss solutions to narrow the skills gap that exists in today’s workforce. This live stream panel symposium will take place from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

“We are excited to be hosting this Employability Summit for the 2nd year in a row”, says Chris Sawyer, Hampton Campus Director, “it is a great opportunity to bring both employers and job seekers together to discuss trends in the current job market.”

The event will be live streamed for free on October 29 from the Bryant & Stratton College campus in Milwaukee, Wisconsin between 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET.
