Naima Adedapo to appear at Bryant and Stratton Colleges back to school bash

College Open House event includes live music, games and campus tours

Milwaukee, Wis. – Some people might cringe at the words “Back to School.” At Bryant & Stratton College, they celebrate it.

Bryant & Stratton College is hosting its second-annual “Back to School Bash” on Thursday, August 4th from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at its Milwaukee downtown campus at 310 W. Wisconsin Ave. The Bash will feature a live performance from Milwaukee’s own R.A.S. Movement and an appearance by Naima Adedapo, an American Idol top 10 finalist from Season 10.

The Back to School Bash will be a reunion for Adedapo and the R.A. S. Movement, her eight-person reggae band, as Adedapo has been rehearsing and touring with American Idol for the past several months. Adedapo will be on hand for a “Meet and Greet” with current and potential students as well as college faculty and staff. The Bash will also include games, food, raffles, and a Kids Zone.

“We are incredibly excited to bring Naima and the R.A.S. Movement to our Back to School Bash,” said Pete Pavone, State Director of the Bryant & Stratton Wisconsin Colleges. “Naima is an inspiration to those who follow their dreams. We are happy she can take a few hours out of her busy schedule to celebrate our college with us.”

The Back to School Bash and the R.A.S. Movement performance will be held outside in the 310 W. Wisconsin Building Federal Plaza on the corner of 3rd Street and Wisconsin Avenue. The rain location is Center Court of the Grand Avenue Mall.

Those interested in learning more about earning their associate’s or bachelor’s degree from Bryant & Stratton College are encouraged to attend, tour the campus and speak with current students and an admissions representative. Bryant & Stratton College offers 18 degrees in business, healthcare, technology and the legal field.
