Home / News / Nursing Program Receives Full Approval from Virginia Board of Nursing November 30, 2015 Nursing Program Receives Full Approval from Virginia Board of Nursing By B&SC News Team North Chesterfield, VA (November 30, 2015) – The Virginia Board of Nursing granted full approval to Bryant & Stratton College Associate Degree Nursing Program during the November Board of Nursing Business Meeting. “Our nursing faculty are leaders in their field of expertise,” says Debi Erick, Program Director for Nursing. “The faculty excel at mentoring our nursing students toward the career of their dreams.” Earlier this month, all 10 nursing graduates of the College’s Fall 2015 graduating class experienced a 100% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nursing (NCLEX-RN) on their first attempt reporting only 75 of the 265 possible questions. “When our nursing graduates finish the exam with only 75 questions, they were accurate enough to avoid the entirety of 6 hours with 265 questions on the NCLEX-RN” explains Beth Murphy, Campus Director at Bryant & Stratton College, Richmond. The BSC Nursing program is designed to be completed in 20 months of full time study. Graduating students earn an associate’s of applied science in nursing (ASN).
