Home / News / Information for Online Students Affected by Hurricane Florence September 12, 2018 Information for Online Students Affected by Hurricane Florence By B&SC News Team During this period of severe weather, we encourage you to do everything necessary to ensure that you and your family are safe. If you are concerned about your classes, our advice is to log into your classes and participate as early as possible as that will establish your presence in them. We understand your situation may change rapidly, so we suggest that you stay in contact with your faculty, advisors, and coaches regarding submitting your work. We will be flexible as our goal is to keep our students on track and will individually consult with each of you regarding your options and work with faculty regarding weekly deadlines, etc. Please check your student and personal emails for directions on how you can download the Blackboard app to access your classes through your mobile devices and tablets, as well how to register with our RAVE Alert System here, to stay up to date with any emergency notifications we may send out. Finally, with the severe weather, book deliveries will most likely be further delayed. Please do not panic as your instructors will continue to work with you. There is also a link in your email about how to stay up to date with UPS. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
