By B&SC News Team Virginia Beach, VA, June 20, 2013 – The Student Veterans Association of Bryant & Stratton College-Virginia Beach campus, in association with Total Image Car & Truck Club, will host the 1st Annual Veterans Benefit Car Show this Saturday, June 22, from 8am to 5pm. Open to the general public, and car & truck enthusiasts, the free event will be held at the College’s 301 Centre Pointe Drive location (near the intersection of Independence Blvd. & Baxter Road). All proceeds from this special benefit will go to support Vetshouse, Inc., located in Virginia Beach, raising money to help homeless veterans get back on their feet. “Bryant & Stratton College prides itself on being military friendly and veteran helpful,” said Lee Hicklin, Director of Military Relations, “so once our Student Veterans Association decided to help raise funds for Vetshouse, Inc., both of our Hampton Roads campuses were committed to the cause.” SVA President and Organizer Tommy DuBois says he expects around 500 cars, trucks, motorcycles, low-rider bicycles and other vehicles to participate in the show. Attendees will also have the opportunity to view specialty makes from car clubs all over the mid-Atlantic region.
