Virginia Beach Mayor to Present Bryant & Stratton College with Proclamation

To celebrate Bryant & Stratton College’s 165-year commitment to education, Mayor Bobby Dyer will present the college with an official proclamation, observing October 23^rd as Bryant & Stratton College Day in the city of Virginia Beach.

The proclamation will be presented during the campus’ 165^th anniversary celebration event, which will include a speech by the mayor commending the college for its long-standing efforts in educating the community and preparing them to be successful in the workplace.

“We are thrilled to have Mayor Dyer by our side as we celebrate this monumental milestone and the next chapter of Bryant & Stratton College,” said Eric Harrell, State Director of Marketing and Communications, Virginia Colleges, Bryant & Stratton College. “Our longevity is credited to our success in creating and offering educational programs to meet the specific and changing needs of students and employers, and the immense community support we continue to receive, year after year.”

The event is free and open to the public. It will take place on Wednesday, October 23 starting at 11 a.m. at the Virginia Beach campus, located at 301 Centre Pointe Drive. The presentation will take place at 11:30 a.m. Other activities taking place on-campus throughout the day include:

• Mayoral Proclamation
• Ribbon Cutting for Esports Arena
• Work Attire Workshop and “Tie Breaker” competition
• Healthcare Career Fair, Open House and Student Health Clinic (in honor of Medical Assistants Recognition Week)
• Bobcats Athletic Team Pep Rally
