COMM115 - Introduction to Information Literacy

Students will develop information literacy skills relevant to the modern workplace. Students study the evolution of information and how research is impacted by emerging technology. There is an emphasis on learning how to access, evaluate, synthesize, and communicate research results as well as strategies for assessing and filtering information in an information-saturated world. Additionally, style conventions for citing sources and writing are included.
