HUSS220 - Theory, Assessment, and Interventions of Addictions

Semester Credit Hour(s): 3 (SS)

This course focuses on mental illness, substance use disorders, and behavioral addictions. Students will explore how addiction co-occurs with other mental illnesses and the impact it has on families, friends, and others in the workplace and community. Students will examine interventions, assessment procedures, and diagnostic interviewing.
