LITR220 - Introduction to Literature

In this course, students will explore a variety of literary genres while examining literary traditions, forms, and key elements that shape meaning. While studying influential authors and their works, students will apply basic literary criticism, develop critical writing skills, and utilize research. Students will also cultivate an appreciation for the role of literature in expressing and shaping human experience both personally and historically.
