The Medical Assisting diploma program utilizes classroom lectures and hands-on lab courses to provide the foundation needed to succeed in today’s modern healthcare field. The courses in the Medical Assisting diploma mirror the clinical and administrative duties medical assistants are expected to perform in private practices, hospitals, clinics, medical offices, labs and other healthcare facilities .
Students are prepared to sit for the CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) exam upon completion of the diploma program.
Upon successful completion of competencies and objectives, students have the opportunity to transfer credits completed in the diploma program to the Medical Assisting associate degree with Bryant & Stratton College.
