Matching Scholarships Bryant & Stratton College will match the dollar value of any scholarship awarded to any student from a professional organization with a valid academic scholarship program. These organizations, which cannot be affiliated with Bryant & Stratton College, are typically 501(c)(3) entities and may include (but are not limited to) unions, civic or fraternal groups, philanthropic societies, educational entities, professional groups and businesses. Scholarships from private or public businesses must be reviewed and pre-approved by the College. The focus of the review will include history of the program, past award amounts, award criteria, breadth of eligible award recipients, and potential total annual award amounts. Scholarships provided to employees of public or private businesses must include eligibility criteria in addition to employment in order to be eligible for a matching scholarship. College-specific scholarships are excluded from the matching program. In no instance will the amount received from a matching scholarship exceed a student’s total tuition after state and federal grants have been applied.
Early Acceptance Scholarship Students who complete the entire admissions process by a certain deadline may be eligible to qualify for the Bryant & Stratton College Early Acceptance Scholarship. To qualify, students must meet the following requirements: Meet with a Bryant & Stratton College admissions representative for a personal interview to determine program selection. Complete an application for enrollment. If a high school student, be nominated for admission in writing by their high school guidance counselor. Submit an essay that should address these questions: Why are you interested in Bryant & Stratton College? Why are you the best candidate for this scholarship? How do you plan to use your Bryant & Stratton College education? Award winners will be selected based on the highest evaluation scores and the strength of the application as determined by the Admissions Committee. Each campus will determine the availability of the Early Acceptance Scholarship on a semester-to-semester basis.
Adult Learner Scholarship Bryant & Stratton College Online offers the Adult Learner Scholarship as a financial award specifically designed for adult learners who are attending school for the first time. The Adult Learner Scholarship is only available for online students and all applicants must meet the following requirements: Enroll for the first time as a full- or part-time student in an online degree program at Bryant & Stratton College Meet all entrance requirements for matriculating students. Complete application for enrollment and financial paperwork Possess a qualified high school diploma, GED or equivalent documentation. Submit an essay through the admissions office for review by the Scholarship Committee The Adult Learner Scholarship will be valued at $400 for semesters of 12 credit hours, $300 for semesters of 9 credit hours, and $200 for semesters of 6 credit hours, for a maximum value of $2000. Scholarship recipients must continuously attend each semester and maintain a GPA of 3.0.
Salute to Spouses Scholarship Program Bryant & Stratton College provides support to veterans, active duty military members and their families through a number of avenues. One resource we are proud to provide is our Salute to Spouses scholarship. This is a scholarship program built specifically for active-duty military spouses. Eligible students can receive up to $6,000 toward their education with Bryant & Stratton College. The Salute to Spouse Scholarship is not available at all campuses. Please contact the financial aid department for availability. To qualify, an applicant must meet the following standards: Provide a copy of spouse’s orders (which will indicate active-duty status). Provide a copy of a marriage certificate. Provide a copy of a high school diploma or equivalent. Submit a written essay.
