10.29.14 Monday, 10/27/14, will go in the books as an historical moment. The Lady Bobcats were selected as a one of the top 10 USCAA teams to compete for the National Championship in Charleston, West Virginia. The Lady Bobcats had to wait until the last moment to find out they had secured the final seed (# 10). The excitement from the team after the surprise announcement could be heard from blocks away! “This was one of most exciting moments in my short coaching career and my life” said Coach Grigorita soon after the announcement. The event itself was filled with a lot of positive emotions. The attendance of the bid selection was widely attended by associates and students in our new Student Union with local television coverage live on the scene. We proved once again that Bryant & Stratton is a big family and that athletics is a big part of our campus life.

09.29.14 This weekend the Lady Bobcats went to Long Island, NY to play back to back games against Nassau CC and the Fashion Institute of Technology. On Saturday, the team faced Nassau CC. The Lady Bobcats had outstanding support from the parents present at the game. During the game, the team lost one of its important players - Kai Jacobs (Antigua, VI) due to the injury. However, the Lady Bobcats had a good appearance and learned some valuable lessons playing against one of the top college in New York. The final scored showed a painful 0:3 loss for the away team.

09.10.14 The Bryant & Stratton men's soccer team (2-0) continues to impress as they soundly defeated Davis College yesterday. Bryant & Stratton’s All-American Sean Latimer (England) scored 4 of the 9 Bobcats’ goals which led to an onslaught of goals that allowed the Bobcats a 7-0 first half lead. The Bobcats continued to apply pressure by outshooting their opponents 38-1 and added two additional goals in the second half to secure the victory 9-0.

09.08.14 Bryant & Stratton College men's soccer team cruised to a 5-0 win against fellow USCAA member, Paul Smith’s College. Sophomore forward, Sean Latimer (England), scored 3 of the 5 Bobcats' goals. The 2013 NJCAA All-American netted his 1st goal in the fourteenth minute of the match. The Bobcat’s offense proved to be too much as they outshot their opponents 37-4 and improved their record to 1-0.

A RAINY DAY IN ADIRONDACKS BRINGS THE LADY BOBCATS VICTORY IN THE FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON!
09.08.14 On Saturday, September 6th, the Lady Bobcats debuted in the USCAA (United States Collegiate Athletic Association) league against Paul Smith’s College (1-1 record). Cold weather and pouring rain could not break the focus of our girls. “We will have to make some adjustments to our game plan because of weather”, said Coach Grigorita just before the starting whistle. Shortly after beginning the game, the attacking trio of Kai Jacobs, Adela Racic, and Monique Surf started to destabilize the opponent’s defense with a variety of moves. The confidence of the Lady Bobcats threw off Paul Smith’s defense and the look of surprise was visible on their faces. The opening goal of the game and of the season came after a ‘’homemade’’ corner kick that was executed perfectly by Nicolette Weir and finished by Amanda Belsito. It was an historic goal, as it was the first Bryant & Stratton College goal in the USCAA conference. After that, the Lady Bobcats grew wings and the home team could not do anything to stop their assent. The team kept attacking, continually changing the score on the scoreboard.

The kits were provided in partnership with Promotional Images and included a single subject notebook, a three-subject notebook, highlighter, eraser, folders, pens and pencils, packaged in a Bryant & Stratton College book bag. Originally the College planned to distribute 1500 kits (500 at each campus); however, due to such an overwhelming response, Bryant & Stratton College gave an additional 300 kits away.
