As the demand for certified Occupational Therapy Assistants continues to grow – 27% growth expected by 2022! – Bryant & Stratton College’s program is poised to provide students the opportunity to enter this rapidly growing field with a strong, credentialed program.

Our program develops the foundation to work in both traditional and non-traditional settings to cover a wide spectrum of caregiving. This includes providing care for the elderly, those with developmental disabilities along with other facets of the growing healthcare field which continues to be opened to children and adults alike who are in need of quality care.

The curriculum is centered around real-world skills through hands-on experiences which mirror what they will encounter throughout their careers as an OTA. Instruction in theory, assessment skills, both client and evidence-centered interventions and documentation and intervention planning make up the bulk of the program. Lab work reinforces in-class theoretical training that ultimately applies to a variety of professional settings including, but not limited to, hospitals, rehabilitations clinics, schools and skilled nursing facilities.
