Clinical Foundation I

As an allied health professional, you will need to be able to read, write, and understand medical terminology. You will also need to be able to communicate with other health professionals in the field. This course is designed to teach the foundation of medical terminology and how prefixes, combining words, and suffixes work together to create medical vocabulary. Students will complete pronunciation assignments of medical terms and proofreading assignments each week to increase their proficiency.
