Intro to Coding

This course of study will prepare students who are not currently in the coding profession for employment as entry-level medical coders in physician practices, hospital emergency rooms, clinics, etc. Students will examine all of the major coding sets and become proficient in the layout, formatting, concepts, and application of each code set as well as the ability to maneuver through the respective manuals.
