HUSS230 - Crisis and Trauma Intervention

Semester Credit Hour(s): 3

This course introduces the basic theories and principles of crisis and trauma intervention. Emphasis is placed on identifying appropriate and differential techniques for intervening in crisis and traumatic situations. Upon completion students will be able to assess crisis and traumatic situations and respond appropriately, safely, and effectively.

Prerequisite(s): HUSS100 or HTHS110
