This course provides a foundation in Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and HCPCS Level II coding, equipping students with the essential skills required for accurate procedural coding and billing in a healthcare setting. This course emphasizes the accurate application of CPT codes across various medical specialties, the correct use of modifiers, and integration with HCPCS Level II and ICD-10-CM codes. The course prepares students to apply these concepts and supports the knowledge requirements for the AAPC's Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification.
