PHIL222 - Ethics in Health and Human Services

Semester Credit Hour(s): 3 (HU)

In this course students will identify, evaluate, and apply ethical and moral theories relevant to contemporary issues in healthcare and human services. Students will also assess the obligations of a healthcare or human services entity to its community and the underlying ethical issues that can affect those obligations. Students will be able to respond to ethical issues and dilemmas with empathy and professionalism, and will have the analytical tools necessary to navigate future ethical issues in healthcare and human services.
