New York State TAP Grant

New York residents may be eligible to receive financial aid funding from the state through the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP). TAP grant eligibility is determined by utilizing information from a student’s FAFSA related to the student’s family’s New York State taxable income, federal or local pension income, and private annuity income, if applicable, for the prior year.

Other factors that impact a student’s eligibility for TAP include their dependency status and the number of family members in college. Students can learn more about the TAP Grant at the New York State Higher Education website.
