Home / News / 2016 Autonomous Bot Challenge March 15, 2016 2016 Autonomous Bot Challenge By B&SC News Team The Autonomous Bot Challenge returns to Bryant & Stratton College on April 22, 2016 where, once again, teams of three-to-five students will compete to build the best robot to complete a number of challenges. Each team will be required to build their own Boe Bot robot and program it using the BASIC Stamp 2 microcontroller. There are three challenge levels available for teams to participate in. The three challenge levels are: Level 1—Basic Build & Parking Program Level 2—Additional Sensors & Obstacle Avoidance Level 3—Aerial Drone Launch Teams will have the choice of which challenge level (or levels) they wish to participate in. Each challenge increases the skill of programming and number of total components used on the Boe Bot. Assistance is available from Bryant & Stratton College Electronic Engineering program to help with the construction or programming of the robots. BSC Tech Challenge Scholarship Participants in the Autonomous Bot Challenge are eligible to apply for the Bryant & Stratton College Tech Challenge Scholarship as they prepare to continue their education. All scholarship applicants must attend a school participating in the Autonomous Bot Challenge, submit a written personal statement, letter of recommendation from you Bot Challenge team coach and a minimum GPA of 2.5.
