HURS233 - Employment Law and Labor Relations

Semester Credit Hour(s): 3

Students will examine employment law and labor relations from historical, legislative, and practical perspectives. Historical events and legislative trends contributing to the evolution of employment law and labor relations in practice will be covered.  Legal frameworks of unionism, the employer-employee relationship, and emerging models of labor relations will be discussed. By the end of the course, students will develop a systematic foundation for managing employment law and labor relations issues.
