The Medical Billing and Coding diploma program at Bryant & Stratton College provides students with the foundational learning to sit for a national coding certification and to pursue positions in medical billing and coding and in other roles within the healthcare field. This diploma program aids students in earning the necessary professional designations that employers throughout the medical field look for. Through the program, students are prepared for positions at private practices, hospitals, clinics, long-term-care facilities, insurance providers, and other businesses within the healthcare industry.
Curriculum in the 36-credit diploma is designed to meets industry standards and provides graduates the knowledge to take the Certified Coding Associate (CCA) exam given by the American Health Information Management Assocation (AHIMA). This structure ensures that graduates are prepared to earn professional designations while laying the foundation for future growth and success. Credits earned in the program also transfer into the associate degree in Medical Reimbursement and Coding offered by Bryant & Stratton College.

The online Medical Billing and Coding diploma program follows the same outcomes and curriculum as the campus-based program with the added flexibility and convenience of an online program. Students can expect the same personal touch and support as provided by our campus faculty and staff.
Credits earned in online classes at Bryant & Stratton College are the same as credits earned in campus-based classes at Bryant & Stratton College.
