HOSS220 - Ethical Hospitality Management

This course provides students with a practical and analytical foundation for making ethical decisions as future hospitality leaders. Students will explore ethical dilemmas across key operational areas, including front office, food and beverage service, housekeeping, sales and marketing, and hospitality technology. Emphasis is placed on ethical decision-making models, legal compliance, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability practices. Students will examine the impact of ethical leadership on guest satisfaction, employee engagement, brand reputation, and community trust. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to evaluate real-world challenges and apply ethical frameworks to create responsible, inclusive, and sustainable solutions in a global hospitality context.
